Everyone is Hitler for 15 Minutes

In tribute to Andy Warhol I combine two things which he’s known for, a quote and a piece of art. The quote was, “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes,” which he made in 1968. I combined that concept with a variation of Warhol’s Marilyn Diptych piece.

The point of this piece is that people so casually throw around the word Hitler or fascism, and that as a consequence the words are losing their meaning. A person could accuse anyone of being Hitler.

When anyone could be Hitler, no one is Hitler.
